This hitch is specifically designed for a ½ Ton Truck with a 5.5 foot bed.  (Ford F150’s, Chevy/GMC 1500’s, Ram 1500’s)  It slides back 22.5”, and also moves left or right, depending on the direction of the turn 2.75” to allow for additional clearance of the bed rails or tonneau cover rails.
